Samantha Suastegui
Samantha Suastegui graduated from CASE with a Master of Science in Geofutures. Samantha is originally from the Bronx, New York. Prior to joining CASE, Samantha attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she received a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Samantha is interested in design equity, socially responsible architecture, and rethinking the future of cities to create a more sustainable and equitable city. Her research at CASE focuses on the social characteristics of architecture, community-centered design, and decolonizing design in three scales: the building itself, social dimensions of the building, and through the discipline of architecture/ architectural thinking.
