Kit Hutton

Kit Hutton is a CASE alumni through the Arch Away program. She graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in economics of banking and finance. While at CASE she researched hemp as a building material and the potential for a circular economy in the building industry. She was involved in the OBMI AERA research group under Professor Josh Draper in the Research Investigations class, working on the plant database and more. Additionally, Kit works on the LUCID Project with the Van Alen Institute as an Undergraduate Research Project with Professor Christianna Bennett and Professor Fleet Hower.

On campus, she was involved in the local chapter of American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) having served as president, vice president, and treasurer, the sorority Pi Beta Phi holding a director position, and the Greek honor society Order of Omega. In her spare time, she enjoys graphic design and photography and has an online shop to sell prints.
