Daniel M. Cohen
Daniel M. Cohen graduated from CASE with a Master of Science in Built Ecologies. Daniel is originally from Albany, New York, but currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and cat. Prior to joining CASE, Daniel attended Carnegie Mellon University where he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree. After graduation, Daniel worked as an architectural designer at Lubetz Architects and as an educator at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
In 2011, Daniel moved to New York City where he received his architectural license and worked as an architect at CookFox, where he worked on City Tower in Brooklyn and 512 West 22nd in Chelsea. Most recently Daniel worked at HOK on the new Terminal B at Laguardia Airport and continues teaching at the Fallingwater Institute. Daniel’s research at CASE focused on developing non-corrosive reinforcing from natural fibers and recycled plastic to extend the service life of reinforced concrete infrastructure.
