Alex Yakir

Alex Yakir is a third year Bachelor of Architecture student at RPI. His interest in architecture stems from his long-standing fascination with art and built technologies, which have instilled in him an inclination towards creativity and uniqueness in his work. He hopes to incorporate these tenants into never-before-seen building designs. At CASE, his research centers around finding alternative solutions to current state-of-the-art technologies, whether that be the benefits of alternative forms of concrete or the development of a closed biofiltration system. He hopes that he can bring a different, more imaginative perspective to the field of architecture.
