Alexa Drumm
Alexa Drumm is a CASE alumni through the Arch Away program. She graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture. Alexa comes from the small town of Massena, NY located on the Canadian border. Prior to studying at CASE, Alexa’s interests consisted of plant classification and care as well as vegetal consciousness.
Throughout her time at CASE, her interests expanded to include a consideration of plants as a living material in addition to a newfound journey into landscape architecture with a concentration on scale and growth of natural and artificial environments. The diagrammatic work shown here is a metaphoric analysis of the research process in relation to natural cave formation.
